School Life

Extracurricular activities

The British School of Cordoba’s curriculum of extra-curricular activities and services is a fantastic way to complement the education of our pupils. The school offers an extensive extracurricular program to provide each pupil with a variety of activities that further enrich their learning.

School uniform

The British School of Córdoba has a school uniform that all pupils must wear daily. The uniform varies slightly according to the educational stage and season. In addition to the formal day-to-day uniform, there is also a sports uniform for pupils to change into for physical education classes.

School transportation

The British School of Córdoba offers a daily transport service to and from the school, which is organized according to the needs of the families requesting the service. We employ a professional bus company with many years of experience in school transportation. The buses used are modern and comply with the safety regulations regarding the transport of children. The route is supervised by a monitor employee by BSC to ensure that pupils are well cared for; the school does not subcontract the designation of the monitors to the bus company.

Breakfast Club and out-of-school reception

Outside our school hours, we provide care services for our pupils which helps parent balance school hours with their working hours.

The breakfast club welcomes pupils who need to arrive at school before 8:30am, and runs from 7:30am. Breakfast club includes supervision and breakfast.

Nutrición and Menus

Food for all out pupils is prepared in the school kitchen every day by our Aramark team served in different shifts from 12.00 to 15.00.

Our school menus are designed to comply with nutritional recommendations and the principles of the Mediterranean diet.

We are committed to offering a varied, balanced and healthy diet. We also control safety and hygiene. Aramark, our food service provider, has a strong team specialized in nutrition within schools.

Allergies or Intolerances

We adapt our menus to any health requirement, allergies or intolerances or specific food needs. If your child has any allergies or requires a special diet, please inform us before the school year begins.

Meal times are closely supervised by a team of BSC staff members along with Aramark members, who know the pupils well. EYFS and primary pupils are encouraged to always try different foods. EYFS teachers record how much each child has eaten so that it can be communicated to parents.

Medical assistance

The British School of Córdoba is committed to the health and well-being of all our pupils. Part of this commitment is included in our Health and Safety Policy.

Automated Defibrillator

The British School of Córdoba holds an automated defibrillator onsite and has qualified personnel trained in resuscitation and the use of the defibrillator.
